Minutes of Meeting

 

 

A special meeting of the Facilities Committee of the Rocky Hill Board of Education was held on Thursday, September 16, 2004, in the superintendent's conference room.  Present were:  J. Kirk Bostwick, Catherine Vargas, Peter Arico, Nadine Ball, Anne Schmidt, Director of Finance & Operations Gregory P. Turansky, Director of Facilities Richard Cooke, and Supt. of Schools Dr. J. A. Camille Vautour.  The meeting was called to order at 6:15 p.m.

 

Discussion centered on legislative requirements that each Board of Education must adopt an Indoor Air Quality Program.  Mr. Cooke indicated that he had begun a review of a program called Tools for Schools.  This particular program is being recommended by the Department of Public Health.

 

Mr. Cooke requested a month to complete his review of the material and will then make a recommendation.

 

It was agreed that the Facilities Committee would reconvene on October 21, 2004 at 5:30 p.m.

 

The meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
