Minutes of Meeting

 

 

A special meeting of the Facilities Committee of the Rocky Hill Board of Education was held on Thursday, June 16, 2005, in the superintendent's conference room.  Present were:  Kirk Bostwick, Peter Arico, Anne Schmidt, Catherine Vargas, Nadine Bell, Director of Finance & Operations Gregory P. Turansky, and Supt. of Schools Dr. J. A. Camille Vautour.  The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

 

Feasibility Study

Dr. Vautour indicated that the Board archives had been searched for memos and related documents pertaining to facilities concerns.  This material has been forwarded to Schoenhardt Architects to aid in developing a complete picture on the condition of our school facilities.

 

Indoor Air Quality Plan

Questions were raised as to whether or not the material provided by Mr. Cooke actually constitutes a policy/plan.  Mr. Turansky was asked to confer with other towns including Glastonbury and South Windsor to obtain copies of their policies and plans.

 

The meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
