Minutes of Meeting

A special meeting of the Facilities Committee of the Rocky Hill Board of Education was held on Tuesday, January 18, 2005, in the superintendent's conference room. Present were: J. Kirk Bostwick, Peter Arico, Anne Schmidt, Nadine Bell, Catherine Vargas, Director of Finance & Operations Gregory P. Turansky, and Supt. of Schools Dr. J. A. Camille Vautour. The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.

Discussion focused on how to best prioritize capital projects for submission to Mr. Cooke for inclusion in his budget for 2005-06.

Consideration was given clustering like items such as voicemail in the various schools or carpeting requests. Thoughts were also expressed about completion of projects already underway such as the flooring project at West Hill School.

Mr. Bostwick suggested that the actual development of priorities occur at the next Facilities Committee meeting.
