Minutes of Meeting

A special meeting of the Facilities Committee of the Rocky Hill Board of Education was held on Thursday, January 13, 2005, in the superintendent's conference room. Present were: J. Kirk Bostwick, Peter Arico, Anne Schmidt, Nadine Bell, and Supt. of Schools Dr. J. A. Camille Vautour. The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.

Mr. Bostwick discussed details of a conversation with the Town Manager, Town Finance Director, and Director of Facilities wherein he sought clarification on use of capital improvement funds for school projects. He indicated that the account for capital projects was viewed as somewhat fluid so that unanticipated emergencies could be addressed with the funds should the need arise.

Mr. Bostwick asked committee members to review the capital projects grid and be ready to suggest priorities at the next committee meeting, January 18, 2005, 5:00 p.m.

The meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
